About this release
This is a console utility that gathers the activation methods for the desktop system, the office suite and the development environment behind one menu. Run it, read the status panel showing what is currently licensed and by which method, choose an option and let it work. Everything reports what it is doing as it goes rather than finishing silently and leaving you to check.
Several methods are included because no single one covers every situation. Network based activation for editions that support it, digital entitlement tied to the machine so a reinstall activates itself without any further action, and offline methods for machines that are not connected. The utility detects which system edition and which suite version are present and offers only the options that apply to them.
The information side is more useful than it sounds. The status panel shows the installed edition, the current licence state, the method in use, the remaining period where one applies and which components are covered. For anyone diagnosing why a machine keeps falling back to an unlicensed state, that summary answers the question faster than working through the system's own tools.
It also carries the tidying tools that this kind of utility needs: remove an existing key, switch the installed edition, clear a stuck licence state, reset the activation store when it has become inconsistent, and check the result afterwards. The interface is a plain text console with numbered choices, which is deliberate, since it runs on machines where the graphical shell is not cooperating.
