About this release

Most tools in this corner of the shelf present a menu of options and expect you to know which one applies. This one leads with a single large button that inspects the machine, works out what it is looking at and does the appropriate thing, and puts everything else behind an advanced pane for the people who want to make that decision themselves. For a technician working through a stack of machines, that difference is the entire value.

The advanced pane is genuinely complete. It exposes the management mode, the target selection between the desktop system and the installed suite, the server address and port used for the local service, the renewal interval and the scheduled task that keeps state current. A status readout at the top of the window reports what the machine currently has installed and what condition it is in, before anything is changed.

It runs portable. There is no installer, nothing is registered, and the executable can live on a stick with the rest of a technician's kit. A log pane records every action taken during a session and can be saved out, which matters when a machine is being handed back to someone who wants to know what was done to it.

Coverage runs across the current and previous desktop system generations and the suite versions that go with them, and the tool is rebuilt whenever those underlying systems change enough to need it. Interface language switches between English and Chinese from the title bar without restarting.

System requirements

Install order

1. Unpack the archive to a folder or straight onto a stick.
2. Run the executable as administrator.
3. Read the status readout first, then use the main button or open the advanced pane.
4. Save the log if the machine is being handed back to someone else.
