About this release
The disk tools built into the system can create and delete partitions and can sometimes shrink one, and past that they stop. This does the rest: resize a partition that has data in it, move it along the drive, merge two into one, split one into two, convert between partition table styles and file systems, and change a system drive without reinstalling anything.
Cloning and migration are the two jobs people install it for. Moving a working system from a mechanical drive to a solid state drive is a single guided operation here, with the partitions resized to fit the new drive and the boot configuration adjusted so the machine starts from it afterwards. A full disk clone for backup or for rolling out an identical build works the same way.
Operations queue before they run. Changes are staged as a pending list, shown against a map of the drive so you can see what the result will look like, and only applied when you commit them. Anything that touches the system volume reboots into an offline environment to do the work safely, then comes back to the desktop, which is the correct way to move a partition that the system is currently running from.
The bootable environment is included for the cases where the machine will not start or the whole drive needs to be worked on offline. Written to a stick, it boots into a minimal desktop with the tool ready. The higher editions extend it to server volumes, dynamic disks, unlimited machines from one working copy and the portable technician build for service work.

Install order
- Back up anything important before touching a partition layout, without exception.
- Unpack the archive and run the installer.
- Write the bootable environment to a stick before working on a system drive.
- Stage the operations, check the drive map, then commit them and let any reboot complete.
Worth knowing before you start
Never interrupt a committed operation or turn the machine off while one is running.
Operations on the system volume require a reboot into the offline environment.
