About this release
AIDA64 is the tool people reach for when they need to know exactly what is inside a machine, not approximately. It reads every component down to the level that matters: memory module manufacturer, revision and timings; the specific silicon revision of the processor; monitor identification and its native timings; drive firmware, health data and wear; and the make of every controller on the board. If a part is in the machine, this reports it with more detail than the part's own documentation usually offers.
Sensor monitoring is the other half of daily use. Every temperature, voltage, fan speed, clock and power reading the hardware exposes is read and logged, displayed in the window, on the desktop, in the notification area, or pushed to an external display panel for anyone who wants the readings on a second screen. Logging to a file over hours is what turns an intermittent fault into a diagnosable one, and alerts can fire on a threshold being crossed.
The stability testing suite loads the processor, memory, cache, drives and graphics in isolation or together, which is how a fault gets narrowed to a component rather than guessed at. Benchmarks cover memory bandwidth and latency, processor throughput across several workloads, and drive performance, all with reference results so a number means something without having to find a comparison.
The wider editions add the parts an administrator needs rather than an enthusiast. Network auditing collects a full hardware and software inventory from every machine on a network into one report, change tracking flags what moved between audits, remote monitoring shows other machines' sensors live, and reports export in the formats that go into an asset database. That collection is what makes this a tool for a whole office and not just a workbench.

Install order
- Unpack the archive.
- Run the installer, or run the portable build directly from the folder.
- Start it as administrator so the low level sensor access works.
- Set up logging and alert thresholds before leaving a diagnostic run unattended.
Worth knowing before you start
Without administrator rights most sensor and low level readings are unavailable.
The portable build suits a technician's stick, since nothing is left on the machine.
