Perfectly Clear WorkBench

Version 5.1.1.3255EyeQ486 MBWorkBenchRefreshed 1 week ago

Automatic image correction in batch, built for volume photography where every frame needs to be right.

About this release

WorkBench is aimed at the photographer who comes back from a job with two thousand frames and needs all of them corrected properly by tomorrow. Rather than presets applied blindly, it analyses each image individually and corrects exposure, contrast, colour balance, tint, sharpness and depth against what that specific frame actually needs. Two images shot minutes apart under different light get different corrections, which is the entire point.

The portrait tools are what school, event and volume studios install it for. Face detection drives skin smoothing that leaves texture intact, blemish removal, eye enhancement, catchlight addition, teeth whitening and shine reduction, all applied per detected face rather than across the whole frame. On a set of group photographs that saves an amount of manual work that is difficult to overstate.

Batch processing is the operational core. Whole folders run against a saved preset group with output naming, resizing, sharpening for the destination and format conversion in the same pass, and the queue reports through so it is obvious what finished. Corrections stay adjustable per image afterwards, so the handful of frames that need a human decision get one without the other nineteen hundred needing to be touched.

It works both as a standalone application and as a plugin inside the common editors and catalogue applications, so it can sit at whichever point in an existing workflow makes sense. Raw files are read directly from the current camera bodies, colour management is respected end to end, and output covers the formats a lab or a client will accept.

Standalone or plugin
Runs on its own or inside the common editors and catalogue applications.
Raw and colour management
Current camera raw formats read directly with profiles respected through to output.
