About this release

This is the whole 2025 desktop line in one image: the image, vector, layout, video, audio and web applications together, with a selector at the front so nothing you do not want ever lands on disk. For a machine being set up from scratch it replaces a long afternoon of separate downloads with one operation.

The application set covers the full range. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom Classic, Acrobat, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Animate, Dreamweaver, Media Encoder, Bridge and the supporting components that the others expect to find. Shared engines including Camera Raw and the colour management stack are installed once and used by everything that needs them.

Interoperability is the reason to install a matched set rather than assembling one from separate downloads. Dynamic link between the video applications, smart object round trips between the image and layout applications, and shared libraries all work reliably when the versions match, and are the first thing to break when they do not.

The selective installer is worth using carefully. Most people need four or five of these applications, and the difference in install size between a considered selection and the whole set is substantial. Anything skipped can be added later from the same image without reinstalling what is already there.

System requirements

Install order

1. Check free disk space before unpacking, since the image is very large.
2. Remove earlier versions of any application you are installing here.
3. Run the selector and choose only the applications you actually need.
4. Launch each application once so caches and shared components initialise.
