About this release

This is the application a great deal of published scientific graphing comes out of. It takes measurement data in whatever form the instrument produced it, applies the statistical and mathematical treatment the analysis needs, and produces a figure that meets the layout requirements of a journal without being redrawn in a separate drawing application afterwards.

The graph type library is the reason people stay with it. Well past a hundred templates covering the plots that scientific and engineering work actually uses, including the ones that general purpose charting software has never supported: contour and heat maps, ternary and polar plots, waterfall and stacked traces, multi axis layouts, box and violin distributions, and three dimensional surfaces with proper projections. Every element of a figure is editable and any figure can be saved as a template that later data drops straight into.

The analysis side runs on live data. Peak fitting and deconvolution, linear and non linear curve fitting with a large built in function set and user defined functions, signal processing including transforms and filtering, statistics from descriptive through analysis of variance and survival analysis, and image and contour handling. Because analysis is bound to the source data, replacing the input updates every result and every graph downstream of it automatically.

It sits comfortably in an existing workflow. Import handles the common instrument and text formats with reusable filters for awkward files, and the connectivity layer brings in data from external analysis environments and databases. Batch processing runs an established analysis across dozens of data sets and produces a report for each, which turns a week of repetitive work into an afternoon.

System requirements

Install order

1. Unpack the archive and run the installer as an administrator.
2. Choose a single user or shared installation during setup.
3. Open the application once so the template library initialises.
4. Set the default project folder before importing a large data set.
