About this release
The Ultimate tier is the maintenance suite with a full protection engine added to it, which makes it the version worth having if the machine is not already running something else for that job. On one side there is resident scanning against a threat database with behaviour monitoring and browser protection, and on the other the cleaning, tuning and repair tools the product line has always been built around. Both run from the same window, on the same schedule.
The protection side covers the ordinary routes onto a machine: files as they are written, downloads as they arrive, removable media on connection, and browser traffic against known bad destinations. Behaviour monitoring watches for the patterns that matter regardless of whether the specific file has been seen before, which is what catches anything recent. Quarantine holds what it finds so a false positive is reversible rather than a lost file.
The maintenance side is the older half of the product and is thorough. Junk file removal across every profile, registration database cleaning with a restore point taken first, startup and service management with boot time measured per entry, shortcut and browser repair, privacy trace clearing, and a driver check that flags what is out of date. A single care button runs whichever of those have been ticked, on demand or on a schedule.
There is also a set of live tuning tools that people either love or ignore entirely. A performance mode frees memory and pauses non essential services for gaming or heavy work, a monitor sits on the desktop showing processor, memory and network use, and a startup optimiser reorders boot loading so the desktop becomes usable sooner. All of it is optional and none of it is required for the core cleaning to work.
What it does
- Resident protection
- File, download, removable media and browser scanning backed by behaviour monitoring.

- Junk, cache, log and leftover files across all profiles, plus registration cleaning with a restore point.
- Startup and boot tuning
- Every boot entry measured for its delay and disabled rather than deleted.
- Privacy and repair tools
- Trace clearing, shortcut and browser repair, and a driver currency check.
- Performance mode
- Frees memory and pauses non essential services for gaming or heavy work.
Changed in this version
- Threat database and behaviour rules refreshed.
- Cleaning rules updated for current browser versions.
- Lower memory use while the resident component is active.
- Startup manager now reports scheduled tasks alongside classic entries.
- Interface reorganised to separate protection from maintenance more clearly.
