About this release

Auto-Tune is the pitch correction everyone has heard, whether they know it or not, both in its invisible form holding a good performance steady and in its hard quantised form as a deliberate sound. This bundle is the complete set: the flagship processor plus the whole family of vocal tools that grew up around it, in the standard plug in formats so they load in any workstation.

The main processor works two ways. Automatic mode tracks the incoming pitch against a key and scale and pulls it toward the nearest correct note, with a retune speed control that runs from transparent correction at slow settings to the instantly snapped sound at zero. Graphical mode draws the actual pitch curve of the performance and lets individual notes be moved, flattened, or reshaped by hand, which is how serious tuning work gets done.

The bundle around it covers the rest of vocal production. Harmony generation builds backing parts that follow the lead and the chord track, formant control changes apparent vocal size without altering pitch, throat modelling reshapes the resonance of the voice, doubling produces natural sounding stacked takes, and there are dedicated processors for de essing, mic modelling and the vocoder and talk box style effects.

In practice it runs on the vocal channel throughout the session. Low latency mode keeps it usable while tracking so a singer hears themselves corrected, and the higher quality mode is switched in for the mix. Everything is automatable, so key changes, retune speed and effect amount all follow the arrangement rather than being set once for the whole song.

Install order

1. Close the audio workstation before installing.
2. Unpack the archive.
3. Run the installer and confirm the plug in folder the workstation scans.
4. Reopen the workstation and let it rescan the plug in folder.
