About this release
Some tools try to be a media suite and some just do the one job. This is the second kind: paste a link, choose a quality, press the button. The interface is a list and a toolbar, there is nothing to configure before the first download works, and the queue keeps running while more links are added on top of it.
The Premium build lifts the restrictions the free version carries. Playlists and channels download completely rather than up to a small cap, several items run in parallel, high resolution and high frame rate outputs are unlocked, and the interruptions between downloads are gone. On a long archive job those differences add up quickly.
Output is deliberately narrow and practical. Video in the common container formats at the qualities the source really has, audio extracted on its own where only the sound is wanted, and a small set of device targets that produce a file a phone or television plays without conversion. Subtitles come down as sidecar files where they exist.
The rest is queue management. Downloads resume after an interruption rather than starting over, failed items retry on a schedule, the output folder and naming pattern are set once, and a completed list keeps track of what has already been fetched so a repeated channel pass does not download the same items twice.
What it does
- Paste and download
- A link and a quality choice is the entire workflow, with no configuration needed first.
- Full playlist and channel support
- Complete collections rather than the small cap the free version enforces.
- Parallel queue
- Several items download at once while more links are added to the list.
- Audio only mode
- Extract the sound track on its own for music and talk archives.
- Resume and retry
- Interrupted downloads continue where they stopped and failed items retry automatically.
- Duplicate awareness
- A completed list prevents a repeated channel pass from fetching the same items again.
Changed in this version
- Updated handling after recent changes on the source platform.
- Higher frame rate outputs added to the quality list.
- Faster queue processing on lists past a few hundred items.
- Improved subtitle detection on older uploads.
- Fixed a resume failure on connections that drop frequently.
