About this release
This is the current desktop system image with the document suite already folded into it, which turns a two afternoon machine build into a single unattended run. Boot the stick, answer the setup questions, and the machine arrives at a desktop with the word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, mail, database and publishing applications already installed and configured. For anyone building more than one machine, the time saved is the entire reason this image exists.
The system half is the Professional edition, which is the level that carries group policy, remote desktop hosting, drive encryption, the virtualisation platform and domain join. The current interface generation is here with the centred taskbar, snap layouts for arranging windows on large displays, and virtual desktops that persist across restarts. Hardware handling is the current one, with better scheduling on hybrid processors and faster storage behaviour.
The suite half is the full Professional Plus application set rather than the trimmed home selection, so the database and publishing applications are present alongside the four everyone expects and the mail client is the complete one with rules, multiple accounts and offline storage. The spreadsheet ships with the analysis tools included rather than removed.
The image is multilingual on both halves, so display language, regional format and keyboard layout are chosen once during setup and both the system and the suite follow that choice. Installation is the ordinary experience: write it to a stick, boot, partition and let it run, either as a clean install or as an upgrade that keeps files and applications in place.

System requirements
| Processor | 1 GHz or faster with two or more cores on a supported model |
|---|---|
| Memory | 8 GB recommended, 4 GB minimum |
| Disk | 128 GB or larger system drive given the combined install |
| Firmware | UEFI with secure boot capability |
| Media | 16 GB or larger USB stick for writing the image |

- Back up the target machine before starting.
- Boot from the stick and choose display language, region and edition.

Worth knowing before you start
A clean install erases the selected partition, so confirm the backup first.
