Crash Firefox Intentionally

Open PowerShell or Command Prompt and run: winget install Mozilla.CrashFirefoxIntentionally. Winget is built into Windows 10 (1809+) and Windows 11.

Tool for QA/testers to intentionally crash Firefox in a way that should cause the crash reporter to start.

Crash Firefox Intentionally is available under the Apache-2.0 license. Use winget or the direct download link on this page.

Run winget upgrade Mozilla.CrashFirefoxIntentionally in PowerShell or Windows Terminal to update Crash Firefox Intentionally to the latest version.

Run winget uninstall Mozilla.CrashFirefoxIntentionally in an elevated PowerShell window, or go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.
